A voice echoed. “Here’re the rules. There’re two exits to the maze, Dean’s waiting at one, James, the other. The boy meeting you at the exit will be the one you choose.”
“Wait, what?” I asked, puzzled. Am I dreaming?
I entered the maze, chest hammering harder each second while thoughts cast doubts in my mind. Why do I even have to choose? I’ve chosen James and that’s it. On the other hand, Dean is cute. Oh why do they have to be so perfect?
After what seemed like forever, the exit’s finally in my view along with a familiar boy. His blond hair remains messy and blue eyes full of light. I knew it. This is who I’ll choose.

Hunh, with two fresh graves in the foreground of the photo, I didn’t think the story would end so well.

Hmm, I was so focused on the maze, I did not notice the graves. Good eye!

Despite looking at the picture, writing about the picture and seeing it in every response, I never realized that those were two graves!

I believe I gave it away already. P.S. it’s James. 🙂

In the end, it might have helped her choose 😀

An intriguing game. I love that the girl goes into the maze with one boy in mind, but we don’t know if she ends up with him or the other chap. She seems happy with the outcome anyway!

Who did she end up with? We have to know!

I kind of gave it away in the story. She already knew who she wants.

Is it James, Dean, or some other boy? Obviously, it is the boy of her heart!

It’s got to be either James or Dean but I think I gave it away in the story.
